Where is my donation going??

When you donate to Their Voice your money isn't going to just any organization. Your donation will directly help the lives of companion animals who desperately need our assistance. Without us companion animals have no voice. That is why we have to be Their Voice

Among other things, we provide education. Education provides knowledge. By educating our communities about topics such as puppy mills we are creating a safer place for companion animals to live. We believe that when people are aware of puppy mills and how they profit on the suffering of animals, consumers will make more educated decisions when purchasing a pet. We also believe that knowledge is very powerful. If we all work together to educate our family and friends we can make a huge difference in many innocent lives.

We are also here to spread the word for you! We know that not everyone has time to attend or host educational events or fundraisers. Instead you can make a donation and 100% of your money will go to help educate others about topics such as the puppy mill industry and how to purchase a pet (purebred or mixed breed) from a responsible breeder or rescue organization.

We have no paid employees or staff. Board Members and Volunteers provide their services for free.

Here are some examples of where your donation will be used:

  • Costs such as money required to file with the Secretary of State and IRS to become and maintain an official nonprofit status and accept tax exempt donations.
  • The cost of insurance we are required to have to attend most community events where we provide public outreach and education to a large amounts of citizens within a short amount of time.
  • Events fees that are required to have a booth at community events.
  • Required equipment costs such as canopy, tables, educational displays.
  • Educational materials such as handouts and posters.
  • Promotional Items that we hand out for free to the community.
  • Money to purchase pet food, supplies and provide urgent Veterinary care to local homeless pet owners.
